Bahnsen spends a lot of time on epistemology and the need for a truly Christian theory of knowledge. There often exists a disconnect between the “ends” and the “means” in Christian’s interaction with culture, and I at least partially fault “philosophical” books about Theology i. What a joy it is to be able to stand our ground and confidently proclaim the truth of the Bible against the foolishness of man’s “wisdom”.
Definitely recommend this book. No longer do I find myself needing to cede the intellectual high grouond when trying to explain why I beleive in God. The 2nd half of the book is practical, going over issues in apologetics such as the problem of evil, the presuppositions Finally a presuppositional apologetics book that I understand! Bahnsen does a very good job arguing about where the Christian’s heart commitment should lie.
